It isn't easy being Green

Updated: Jun 16, 2020

We are pretty small but like any business we have a responsibility to try and minimise our impact on the environment and ideally we would like to help you do the same.

So far, we helped pressure the Council into providing commercial glass recycling, signed up with the Terracycle crisp packet recycling programme and reached out to a local independent so we could start a pop-up for cleaning refills. This has helped us reduce our waste both from the snacks we sell and from our own cleaning.

This year as well as low energy bulbs we have started replacing some lights with LEDs; we have started composting to further reduce our waste. Plus Maya's have now launched a Click & Collect Service where you can pre-order the refills you need to the pub.

See you on Weds?
